help choosing tires
ok i am getting a set of lariate 18's for my 06 250 and have narrowed my tires choices down. i rarely put in a big load so i can give up a bit on load rateing. i only load it once maybe twice a year. here are my 3 choices

the bfg's have the closet weight rating at a lil over 3000 per tire. the others are 2750Ibs per tire. so what would be the best tire out of the 3?

What size are you looking for. These trucks are 7,000lbs or more. A light SUV tire is going to be tough.
Is your truck a 4x4? If so I say the yokohama's.
Your choices sure are strange for a Ford Super Duty. The first tow look like something you would find on a Corvette.
Have you talked to any tire dealers about these tires? They might be cautious about mounting them on a truck that is this heavy.

I am putting Toyo's on my truck in a few weeks. They are sitting my my porch waiting for the snow asn ice to clear (new wheels too). They are the Open Country A/T's 285 65 18
Now you state 285 60 16? You mean 18's right. If you you are going froma 33.2" tire in the 275 70 18 to a 31.5" tire with the 285 60 18. Just so you know. The new size is a tad wider too.
