5x5 beep code

I understand that this beep code is reporting a problem with the air bag system. Most seem to think that it is the clock spring or dash light that is the trouble. However my horn and cruise control work so I don't think it is the clock spring, and the dash light comes on when the truck is started and turns off in the first 10 seconds with no fault indications. Any help is appreciated.
