Anyone have any trans problems with the sct? Im doing a tuner very soon and would like some imput before i buy anything. Also... anyone have problems with the head studs stretching with the sct? any feedback would be great
but only because they had another tuner which "defueled" on there before the SCT!!!
Some were infamous for ruining tranny's
Got one of Matt's tunes on now !
I LOVE the way it gets into the higher gears very early when just loping along....
but if you "need" to it will stay in gear and GO !
You will find that once u put the full race tune in, it WILL be your daily driver !
One of the strengths of these tunes are that they operate better than stock when you are "not late for an appointment", but give you enough to MAKE that appointment if you want to !
That is a promise !

Hey PSD 60L Fx4 I tried all of the new tunes you sent. The heavy tow is definitly way more agressive and better. The super economy has great power and the EGT's don't seem to get to high when working it in that tune. The agressive street is good. Especially if you want to blow lots of smoke out the exhaust. I think I am going to put the mild race tune back in though because it feels like it has more get up and go. I talked with a friend this weekend with a 6.0 and a bully dog and he know someone else with a sct and he was not impressed with it compared to the bully dog. I guess it probably depends on if it is a custom model or canned model. My friend also is running straight exhaust and what a sound. I think I wiil have to talk to Jeremy about a cat and muffler delete pipes for the MBRP.
Too bad lipd doesn't take competitive trade-ins . I bought the edge in december and now can't see spending another $500 on another tuner after reading more on the sct here I wish I had bought it instead . I have the edge disconnected right now as I am not impressed with it.
