yes a lot of folks use them. i am asking for obd2.com software for x-mas from the wife. i just emailed them yesterday for system operating requirements of the laptop. when i get a response hopefully tomorrow i will let you know. and that way i can start shopping for a cheap laptop on ebay........

if it only works on 96-00 does any one know if there is a software package for the 95"s
yes you would have to get your pcm reflashed to a 96 or 97 code which makes your truck run better, better glow plug logic and if your an auto guy better tranny shifts.

Probably a dumb question and I'll probably answer it myself. I have a superchip tuner that reads codes. Now these OBD II you guys are talking about do a lot more, don't they? What exactly is a buzz test and a contribution (??) test anyway? Glenn
