Transmition leaking

Hello I own a 88 Bronco Eddie edition. It has a 302 with OD tranny. My problem is that my transmition leaks, It looks like if it is comming out of seal towards the rear of the tranny right by the transfer case. I have change the filter and the oil the pan looked to be in good chape. However after I install the gasket and the pan the tranny kept on leaking. It leaks so bad that it looses most of the fluid in a week with the Bronco just park. Dose someone have an idea of what the solution to the problem can be. I even thinking of taking the tranny completely down to check it. Thakn You.

Transmition leaking

Is there something keeping the new gasket from sealing properly? Like an old piece of gasket stuck on the pan or something? What about the transmission housing? Is it cracked or damaged? There are quite a few things that could cause it, but I would think with a leak as big as the one you describe, you should be able to pinpoint it pretty easily.
