You'll need a PATS key with the transponder chip inside it to use it for starting your truck, etc. The manual does have all needed info. If you don't have two programmed keys in your hand, then you'll have to get the dealership to do it and it won't be cheap. You can buy blank keys at dealerships, some locksmith shops maybe, eBay, etc. For eBay, search for +ford +(f-150,f150) +(04,2004,05,2005,06,2006,07,2007) +(pats,transponder). I ended up paying $20 total for a key on eBay and getting it cut by the local locksmith.
