Yeah, and now see if they can figure out how to make the engine look it came from the 60's, then they might start building nice cars again. If they'd bring back pushrods and single cam engines then maybe Mustang drivers wouldn't get laughed at so much by those GM F-body owners. Think about it, a 40th anniversary Mustang with a screaming 289 featuring IRON heads, and pushrods set in motion by a SINGLE cam, and a solid rear axle with LS. Now that'd be a new car I would actually buy.
Overall, I like the incorporation of the 60's grill, it's a nice touch. TK

i dont like it. i like the old looks, these new cars i dont like. there too curvey, and that car has bad wheels. make the mustang look more boxy like the older ones from the 70's then ill buy one. the only era mustangs i dont like are from the late 70-mid 80's. early 70's and late 80's to 2002 look cool
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 08-Dec-02 AT 10:11 PM (EST)]My first car was a 65 mustang, this is a refreshing sight after all the whoopes these past years. I think we are forgetting the fact that ford is not trying to duplicate the old lines (because that would be trying to mess with perfection) but rather bring some of the classic lines back to their designs. I really dig the new T-bird and if they do this to the mustang I will really have to consider purchasing one. I am glad they are going to have something to compete with the vette again....let's hope there is a sweet motor to go with that sweet ride!
Yeah the wheels do look funny, but hey that's what Les Schwab and others are for...
