You guys are funny, but I enjoyed reading the posts.

Just be careful not to smoke your clutch, those aren't a joy to change out. I like the idea of weight to aid traction. good plan.

Just remember to be careful and make sure to hook the chain to something good and sturdy on both trucks, I've seen decapitated parts do a lot of damage and have heard of people being mortally wounded by snapping parts/chains.

haha thanks.....ya i wanna get as much weight i can get without making it to obvious........my hunch is as soon as we start at it he is guna put it to the floor and spin....i am just hoping i can hold my ground long enough....i think his truck sets lower than mine so would i want to hook up a short chain?

I would. Short and low on him. You got the idea. Hold him till he Smokes and just ez the clutch out and pull his smoken slippin butt over the line. AND GET VIDIO'S. And yer gonna need yer back brakes if ya haven't fixed em yet.

ya i'll try to get videos but it may be pretty dark....if i have it locked in 4x4 low i shouldnt need the rear brakes should i?

Well yer only locking one wheel on the back that way. Less ya got a locker or positrac rear. If he somehow hooks up and moves ya. You Lost.

This just might get interesting. Yea. Weld those spiders for extra traction and hope for the best. That additional 700 lbs couldn't hurt either.
