come out of the master cylinder with the line that feeds the rear, to the lever, out of the lever and back to the line to the rear, same for the front. so you step on the brake to get pressure, flip the lever sealing the line to hold it there. effectivley a hydraulic e brake. so if you do a disk swap in the rear you still can have an e brake on the hill.
Ya i have cab lights and fogs lights (helped out alot with weak low beams) to and both have switches...the cops informed me they can see that thing a mile away when its all on (not a good night haha)....ya the tailight switchs sounds like a good idea to but this kid aint exactly the brightest bulb in the box so he pry wont catch on lol....and on tires $70 sounds like a pretty good deal to me....any of u ever pulled ur street trucks at the fair of any other pulling event? im curious to know how well a 300 could pull the sled cuz everyone else around here says ya cant beat big cubes but with the low end torque of the 300 im not so sure......

like anything else you have to pay to play. what is it worth? most people around here have a big block or beefed v8 to pull at the fair. but it would be interesting to see what the big 6 would do. I really think the line locks would put you over most trucks. you could load the clutch and control it, with one foot. gas with the other have it in the right gear and flip the lever, and procede to embarass. good luck.
i've seen other guys on different sights talk about limited slip plates or something like that going bad in there diffs....how hard are they to replace? cuz my truck seems to only wanna spin the right rear......all the axle and gearing stuff is over my head
you most likely didn't have a limited slip in yours to start, if its just an open diff, then the wheel with the least amount of resistance will spin. look at getting a locker, or a spool if you're really looking for some fun. i'd recommend a nice air or cable actuated locker, so you can still take the corners without dragging a tire. a spool is stornger but its always on. same with everything else, you get what you pay for...
Oh those damn Z71s... so over rated! Yeah they have a great motor, okay tranny, good xcase, weak axles, and pathetic front suspension! I call em rail draggers... the frames hang way down and get caught on the slightest bit of a peak on a hill. I get so tired of hearing these headstrong Bowtie boys talking up something that they bought not built! They are all the same: fake dual exhaust, plastic cowl hoods, 3" body lifts, 33" ATs, tinted windows, and STICKERS! Lot's of stickers A big Bowtie in the middle of the back window and Calvin peeing on a Ford Oval or Dodge Billy Goat. All show no go! I say weld your rear end up, load the bed, drop tire pressure and go kick some ****!

i'll second that opinion. pick up a spare carrier while you're at it, you'll blow it eventually with a welded rear. anyone want to weld mine up for me?
Well on my way to town this morning I pulled a full sized 1/2 ton Chev back on the road with Rusty. They ain't so bad. If I can pull a loaded Chev out the ditch with an empty Ranger 4 cyl. You don't have any worries my friend.

4 cyl, Holy crap,,, um why did he have to be pulled? he ran off road? cause I cant even picture a tiny ranger pulling a full sized chevy or full size anything for that matter. unless it was on flat ground
Ya well 10 inches of snow and street tires. He pulled into the local water hole just a tad to far and droped a wheel in the ditch. Two drums of water and the tires just turn the road to ice. He couldn't move without a snap out. Dont take much ta pull a Chev cuz it don't take much ta get em stuck. HAAA
If a friend was able to pull a 2 Horsetrailer w/ 2 horses & loaded to the gills w/ all the neccessary tack, food & water for everyone on the trip w/ his Ranger, why couldn't another Ranger w/ a 4 banger pull a Bow-tie out of a ditch?

cause 4 cyl dont have that much power, unless they were built or I guess maybe a 5 speed, a 2.3 doesnt have much power i drove one for 2 years in a mustang.
The Bowtie Z71 guys did not like me either. I had a 78 Chevy K-10 with a auto trans, 4.10 posi front/rear diffs, TRUE dual Flowmaster 40's, Hooker Comp headers, and a 350 horse 327, then when that blew up, I built a 400 horse 350.
haha nice...ya i really wanna hook up to these guys...i doubt the guy in the s-dime will take me up on it (seems to be afraid of me lol) but the guy in the z71 will.....but i wanna make sure my truck is ready cuz i wanna drive way not walk......im wondering if he`ll spin himself some holes before i can get him moved....any ideas on what to pull him on? im thinking a relatively packed gravel road or something
