Scratched windows
Would anybody know if the Ford warranty cover the driveres and passenger side windows? There is debris is the insulation or rubber on the outside area of the window and scratched both windows. I was my truck freq. and noticed it on Sat. when I washed the truck, since NE WI had such warm temps. Thought I would ask around before I called the dealer. It is a 06 SD. Thanks.

Yes there is a tsb for the problem they will replace both pieces of glass and install new window beltline molding, right after I bout my truck and had my windows tinted they started getting scratched now I've been through 2 sets of glass and still the pass side is getting scratched . the problem is the stock molding is warped and does not seal against the windows.Just make sure your dealer knows how to fix the tsb the right way and you will be okay.

Awesome Cabinetmaker00. Just checked with my dealer and he has never heard of such a thing (figures). So he said to call tomorrow and talk to the shop supervisor to see if he herd of anything. I gave him the TSB # so we will see. Keep you uptodate hopefully tomorrow. Thanks again.
