Hi Im new to this forum. I have a 78 big block street truck (mustang eater). I hope to find useful information to help with my ongoing project truck. My truck has a 460 with a 305/580 cam a lot of head work and I just installed a Weind tunnel ram with 2 Holley 4160 600 cfm carbs. The truck also has a 3000 stall and a c-6 with a shift kit. It currently has 4.56:1 gears on a locker but I am going to change to a 3.89:1 gear to make it a little easier to drive on the street. The truck has ran 8.50s on the 1/8 mile track with a single carb, 850 cfm, and a weind stealth intake. I am changing the truck from drag race duty. to a cruise night street truck. I would like to change over to a Tremek TKO600 5 speed trans. later on.
