Got the 408w. Got the old motor out. Chunks of pistons and rings in the oil pan- Ha Ha. In the process of removing and cleaning parts for the install to the new motor, hoping to have it in within a week. This computer only gives me a few minutes before it decides to just shut itself off. I'll give more updates as I can.

Bottom end is buttoned up. Timing chain cover is installed. Torque the heads, install valve train, motor mounts, and I'll be stabbin' it tomorrow. I am so happy!

I guess Cfrives hasn't had time to update, but I went over there last night to see how it was comming, and he had her in and hooked up. we put oil and coolant in it and after a couple cranks, she fire right up. IT SOUNDS GOOOOD! we drove it to QT with no powersteering (you always forget something)... we put fluid in it, and it drives like new. he has to "grandma" it for 500mi. to break the new motor in. I know he can't wait to open that baby up!

Actually that one is on 94Nichols! I got a new phone and it does not have a camera. He took a few pics, but has not emailed them to me. I do not have any of it installed, so he also needs to come take a few of those too! My computer is junk and dies after about 5 minutes of use so I'll do my best. Thank you to Austin (94Nichols) for updating the post further, I was just sitting down to do that.
