Can anyone tell me how to get the side marker light lens off so I can change a burnt light bulb? There is not enough room to get the bulb out from behind without removing the lens. Thanks
The late model Rangers require the headlight to be taken out so you can remove 2 nuts that retain the side marker lights. Taking loose the headlights is no biggie - just lift up 2 clips that retain it in the holder and move it out of the way. There is just enough room to do this as long as you don't have huge hands.
If I recall.. On my '99 I had to look on the bottom of the turn signal assembly and flip-up the black "trim" which revealed 2 phillips head screws. Remove the 2 screws... Then Pull gently.. and the Lower turn-signal and the parking lamp lenses came off.

Reason: changed 3-screws to 2.
My truck is a 98. The side marker does not look to be connected to the head lamp. I could very well be wrong but it seems to be a separate unit. Maybe if I take the head lamp out it would create enough room so that I could get the bulb out of the park light w/o removing the entire unit. I will also take a look at the turn signal and see if I can find the screws. Thanks everyone.
