2002 f 150 humming noise at #1

humming noise coming from injector or coil on #1 cylinder has anybody had this problem engine not missing yet. engine has 60k on it

Injectors click, so problem might be with the cop. If you have di-electric grease try pulling the cop off and smear it on the inside of the boot and the electrical connector. And while your at it pull the plug out and inspect. Possible the voltage may be too high? ...have you had the codes scanned?

Sure it's not the PCV valve humming? I've heard that before. Almost like a buzzing sound.

Checked out noise

Found noise at PCV. Used purolator pcv with steel housing. Never had pcv to do that before. Going to get new motorcraft pcv from ford dealer.
