The 5 cylinder Sprinter will only hold 5k and pull another 5k. If they can make it tow 10k, and still offer good fuel mileage, then I think Ford will have a problem. Some people need the diesel. Ford has to get their act together with a diesel van.
I like the looks of the 08 van. And the weight capacity is good. But I might have to go back to an F series for the diesel. Fuel is the problem. Each of my trucks averages about 150 miles a day. In the summer it is 6 days. The V10 would do the job but it doesn't have the fuel mileage. An F series with a box will be a longer wheel base, but I might have to go for it soon.

Check out my gallery! It's done with the install of the 4x4.
Now it goes to my dealer. Then I do my thing with it. I have a few plans but nothing dramatic right now. I will post more higher quality pics as soon as I get it. Looks much better with 4 wheel drive.
I was a little surprised by the two stabilizers myself. I will get some really good shots of the suspension front and rear. Maybe the best shots anyone can find online. We'll see.
That's over kill, you really only need one, 2 are for when you have 35"+ tires, always the one on each side, never the stacked ones, BTW they are for bump steer when encountering potholes, not to correct loose steering. I had to post that for those who are looking to fix play in their steering or wandering, those are caused by worn steering and/or suspension components.
Thats the way they set it up. No input from me at all. I'll see if I can find out why they went to two. Maybe its the government trying to change the rollover issues. I know Ford has required Quigley to do many things regarding the consumer groups concerns.
