P0402? pinging?

P0402? pinging?
I pulled a p0402 code and check engine light is on, but I also have pinging problem, engine feels hot maybe is normal or maybe not? I don't hear coolant boiling, I just wonder if ol of these can be related to the p0402 code?

The P0402 code is often attributable to a failed DPFE sensor.
