I found a guy selling 16x8 eagle 589s with BFGs 315x75x16 . Im putting a 2in. Donahoe kit and f350 blocks in rear. Will these fit my truck. I know this has probably been asked numerous times.
Thanks Mike
Do you have 4x4 or 4x2? Are you talking about if the tires will rub against the frame when you turn or if the top of the tire will hit the wheel wel. If you have 4x4 they will fit inside your wheel wel but if you have 4x2 it'd be different, i don't know if it would fit. 4x4 trucks are 2 inchs taller stock then 4x2.I put a four inch lift kit on my 4x2 and the first tire i had conrods try to put on is a 315 75 16 and the tires had about 2 inchs between the top of the tire hitting the wheel wel. But they hit the frame when we turned the truck because i didnt want to use new rims. Id imagine that if you have a 4x4 and you put that two inch kit on that it would be as tall as mine.
Mike I would agree with I Eat. If you are running a 2wd X you will definately rub with 35's. You may need to go 33. That would also be closed if you plan on gong offroad. I would also reconsider the rear F350 blocks. I do not believe you would sit level with a 2in lift and F350 blocks in the rear. A stock F350 sits almost 3 - 4 inches higher than a stock 4x4 X.
Its a 4x4, The reason im going with the f350 blocks is they are just about 2in. taller than my stock blocks. So my truck should sit the same as it does now just 2in. higher all around. Im only considering these tires is because for the price It will cost me for the package is less than I would pay for the tires alone.
Mike I am not sure if y0u got an answer on this yet. I did ask one of my buddies who is into lifted ford show trucks. he said you may rub with only 2 inches. I have a 6inch procomp on my 2000X 4x4 and have been told 36 is the biggest i could go. You might want to look into it a little more.
