I have been looking on the internet for a new exhaust system for my 87' BroncoEB with the 5.0L 302. At the Gibson website it asks me if I have air injected exhaust when I go to look for headers. My question is, How do I know if I have air injected exhaust?
air injection is a belt-driven pump on the engine that injects air into the exhaust manifold. There will be a pipe going into the exhaust manifold from the pump. It's on the passenger side manifold on my 89 Bronco but might be different on yours, if you have it.
Should have some quarter inch pipes running out of the back or front of your heads that go to the exhaust manifolds....I have a 351W and my old heads has these.
