quick question is your wait to start light coming on and going off? If it is not coming on you need to recheck your fuses. You cannot depend on checking fuses with eyes but a test light. Ive had fuses that appear good buy were bad.
Ok, still turning it over and still no life in the thing. My Enginuity comes tommorrow, maybe it will throw me a code or something. I do however, hear a hissing noise when I turn my key on, It's coming from either the fuel/water separator or the HPOP. I also wonder if I might have a bad pump and I was curious if anyone could tell me some symtoms of that, or even a way to test it.
Is your fpr leak fixed? You can test the fuel supply by slightly cracking then opening the filter bowl drain valve after an assistant turns the key and you should have a strong flow, not gravity leak. You will need to hook up a drain hose from the tube to a suitable container so you can observe this. While this is not the most scientific, it will show at least low pressure flow. A gauge would be best.
That hissing noise is no good. If you keep cranking and get nowhere, your FPR may be malfunctioning. I'd even bet your pump is fine. Look at the fpr and perhaps block the return line temporarily and see if it will fire. Can't/don't want to drive it that way though.
I'll try that, seems though that my fuel pump makes alittle gurgling noise sometimes when I turn the key on. It seems to be supplying good pressure but I will try what you said and see if it helps. I should be getting my Enginuity this afternoon sometime. I'm just waiting on the UPS truck now. Anyway, I'll try what you said and be back on around dinner or so to let yall know how it turned out. Another thought, if that o-ring blew out, could it be a sign of a busted HPOP (Just curious). Thanks again!

Oh yeah the FPR leak is fixed, turns out if you cut and drill a rubber stopper just right it seals up really good. Anyway I tested the fuel supply, it takes a second to build up pressure but when it does it comes out fast. Now I went looking for a way to block my FPR and I really don't know of a good way short of maybe breaking something. And where could I get a gage and what is a good what to hook in to read. And once again I really appreciate you guys help, it seems that I know tons more about my truck even though I can't get it working. I'm hoping my Auto Enginuity come it tonight, I'm trying to figure out where it is at via UPS right now. Unfortunately I need a tracking number and so far ITP hasn't sent me one. Maybe it hasn't got one yet, who knows?
That's right. If it shipped out, there is a tracking #. Did you request one when you bought it and provide him with an email address.
As for your truck. It is starting to **** me off now too, (must be my own issues). As for blocking the return line, just pull it from the fpr and thread in something. I cannot remember the size off hand. 1/4 NPT????Don't run it like that for long, but it should still work.
Thats odd, everytime ITP sends something to me i get a Tracking Number everytime they tell me it has been shipped.
When I called them they aren't picking up, and they said on the phone last week that it would be shipped and get to me today, but I haven't got any shipping info or anything, maybe they just haven't shipped it yet. I ordered friday and they said earliest they could get it to me would be today, maybe they meant shipped today and it comes tommorrow. Who knows, maybe I misunderstood or maybe they did get to process my order on friday. Well whatever the case, I'm not complaining, more or less just kinda posting my situation.

An yes I did give them email and everything, even got my receipt via email. Guess it will take longer than what I understood. Anyway, ok now my thoughts are geared more toward a CPS or an IPC. Any thoughts?
A dead CPS would just be too coincidental for me at this point. If the fuel is flowing i am thinking oil pressure. Once that AE gets here connect to the truck and select Engine RPM, Injection Control Pressure, and Injection Control Duty Cycle in live data and then crank and let us know what values you see.

Well alan, I can't wait. I know this may sound stupid, but I'm sure glad that I get a new toy b/c my truck broke. Now if only the turbo would fry, I would really like a 88mm Garrett
