Good luck, and giddyup. I made a sump out of a sink strainer then cut a hole in my fuel tank for it. Just be sure to replace that ASAP with the proper item lest the rubber degrade and muck up your FPR.
That fuel grommet is a flat oring and that is a ford only part as far as I could find for mine. The whole kit was 25 or so bucks. It includes the orings from the fuel return lines at the rear of the head and all the orings on the canister. Ill go get the part number if its still on the bag. Be right back
Thanks, the closest dealer to me is full of idoits in the parts department, I broke the housing to my FPR about 2 weeks ago when I was working on the electrical trying to find a short, I slipped and $56 later I had a new one.
Between the FPR and the return line fitting, the flat o-ring or "rubber grommet lookin' thingy" as I call it is beat up really bad, so bad that it kinda fell apart when I pull the fitting back to look at it.

This is what I was referring to. This may open a whole new bag of tricks. What was the short?
Its called a sleeve. Couldnt find the part number but the directions and the baggies they came in. Its either the 5/16 or the 3/8 O.D.. It looks like fuel line cut less then a half inch long. You could make one out of hose.
