Question. If I do any mods on my 89 Ford Bronco, like advance the timming, K&N air filter, Removing the colant line to the throttle body, and ignition coil. Should I reset the computer?

What is the proper "re-learn procedure" ?????
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Sep-02 AT 11:33 AM (EST)]Let it idle for a few minutes, and then do 2 wide open throttle accellerations from a dead stop.
This is what I have always heard. Anyone else care to tell me if I'm wrong?
I don't think you need to do anything in particular after resetting the computer. Just drive it normally. Otherwise it would be clearly spelled out in the owners manual & a label near the battery.
If you just drive it, it will eventually relearn the settings, but it will take a weeks worth of driving before it does. The procedure about takes 5 minutes, and you won't have a crappy running truck for a week.

Doug these are h.p. tips. Do a search in here you will find them
Actually Ford has a published procedure for setting up the computer after power has been disconnected to it........When I get home I'll try to see if I can find it and scan it to post (if anyone is interested)........It's fairly simple but involved.....as someone said 15 minutes or so.
On the other hand I have done the "procedure" and I've just gone and driven it and can say that I have never noticed ANY differences.....
