One_Wicked, I haven't seen anyone with that 3rd brake light, but the taillights look a lot like the ones boxcar got. Check out post #31 in this thread (anyone know how to link directly to a post?). I have the Recon 3rd brake light and like it a lot.

Well, I just got off the phone with a couple of people from Recon. I guess more proof that a well written letter can get results. The gentleman I spoke to assured me that these were not the same lights. That the ones on ebay were cheaply made Chinese parts that are imported and sold on the internet. He assured me that their lights are of a much higher quality and will come with the same lifetime warranty as their other parts. He then offered me a discount on the lights since I have been a good customer and they know I speak highly of thier product. So I went ahead and ordered them. I will post pictures on here when I receive them and maybe TNT and I can compare them more closely.

Yes......same ones I got.

It has been a couple months since I installed mine. They still look great. I cant believe how much brighter the led's are compared to a conventional bulb. When I apply the brakes at night, I light up the neighborhood.

I saw TNT's post when he got his and I got the same ones that he and Boxcar got off of ebay.

When I first got them one of the reflector pieces was broken on one of them so I shipped them back and just got the replacements yesterday.

Here are a couple of snapshots of them out of the box, they weren't made in China they were made in Taiwan, that guy was way off! he he

Not bad bigskymt, post some more pics when ya get them in. I wish them made the black ones with a smoked lens, that would be perfect. I'm sure I'll be happy with the Recons though. then I just have to pick up some Harley Headlights and I think I'll be done. Or maybe I'll try to figure out a way to smoke the fog lights too.

Did you find that they fit like the factory lights? The APC's I was replacing had to be wiggled and then forced into the right spot and the screws went in at an odd angle, but these LED ones bolted right up like they came from the factory.

I am a little leary of the reliability, but aren't computers today made in Taiwan? I think so. That's where most of the electronics come from. So, we'll just have to see.

Mine went right in with no problem. At the very top left (and right on the drivers side taillight) the plastic kinda curves in towards the tailgate a little but it doesn't rub so the fit is very good with these.
