Nope still haven't figured anything out. I did get the 3rd brake light though and like it. I put a pic in my gallery. Now the taillights and headlights really stand out though.
I've found my eclipse covers too, but havent taken the time to see how they look. I had a terrible toothache all last weekend and ended up bieng in the dentists office Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon to get a root canal and temporary cap. I would go look now but it's storming like crazy. I'll have to set them by the front door so I remember them tomorrow.
One feature that I have been told to get is the individual replacable LED bulbs. That way if you diode goes out you can just replace it. The ones that are not, well you have to get a new pair of tailights.
I saw a set of the smoke ones on a F-150 a few days ago. The truck was parked so I did not get to see them working. As far as how they looked installed. The fit look good. The smoke is fairly dark. Darker than the pic looked. They were on a balck truck. I was thinking smoke until I saw those. I think I will stick with red smoked. Just enough of a difference to tell you something is new!
Ohh! also there is only one customer testimonial on that site about those lights, He said they fit very nice and look good but who the heck know what that means ..........personnaly I want to see some pics of them on a truck and working. Oh also I guess they are made in china or something like that so thats another reason why I am not going to go buy them just yet.
Garrett is a great person to deal with, and if you have any problems he is more than willing to help out and get things right, do not fear PDP, thats good people right there!
Which ones did you see boxcar, the black smoked ones? Those are the ones I'm most interested in but they looked too chrome for my tastes in the picture. If they are more smoked than chrome I might have to find a set.
These are the ones I'm looking at.

I saw the smoked ones. They are not chromed by any means. They have a very classy refined look. I was impressed with the way they looked. Just a bit dark for my taste.
Very well done. Not that LOOK AT ME junk that you see.
Word! I am just taking my time cause I feel that right now as my truck is.....a set of led's would just look out of place...once I get wheels and tires then they will fit in quite nicely.
Well, between powrstkn's experience with PDP and boxcar saying the smoked ones are darker than that picture I might have to try a set out.
Of course with a $1500 dental bill this week I should probably wait a while and at least see how my covers look Dang this site gets me spending the money!
I will swim with the sharks too and get a set of the red smoked ones. I am gonna wait a month or so too. So far my truck bills for the past few are:
Toyo Open Country 285-65-18 $1025
Ford Racing SVT Wheels $900
Getting the SVT wheels clear powder coated $300
Right side ball joints, lube 4wd needle bearings, and sticker $550
New LED 3rd brake light $79
Yep I was saving up for a Buckstop bumper and line-x but they tooth kind of got in the way of those for a while. I might be able to come up with $200 though. Of course I still need to buy my remote start/alarm, headrest monitors, sound deadening, etc. etc. etc.
