Over the driver side valve cover a 10mm bolt holds it together. The inboard side is clipped in to the bracket but the outboard half will just slide off after unbolting. the injector wires run in the bottom of that harness next to where it has a tendency to lay on the VC.

F-5 dp-tuner. I pull my codes with my power pup but it wont do a CCT.
I'll check the 42 pin connector tomorrow.

Whitesdford- It's probably there but no longer a shiney brass color. It takes a 19mm or 3/4 inch wrench to tighten it. If you did loose it how has youre truck been running?

AMILLER , what is this other test you can do by pulling the FPR or ICP while the engine is running? I was reading a while back that if the engine smooths out that will be your problem. I cant find the post.

Funny thing, its running fine, only did i notice it when i power washed the engine this year, and the water rotated the ipr sensor where the engine wouldnt start. Had the ipr replaced and apparently they didnt screw the nut on tight, hopefully i can find it in the valley, but i doubt it.

If you have a biased ICP sensor unplugging it at idle will smooth out the engine.

This is not real good unless you know the characteristics of your truck normally since the default pressure the PCM calls for when the ICP input is missing is slightly higher than normal. So unless it corrects a very rough idle don't think bad ICP

New evidince for ya'll
Engine does not miss or rock when stone cold@1200 Rpm's or any RPM.
After 5 min of run time engine will start to shake at idle and worse at 1200 RPM.
It seems to get worse as it warms up now.
After a day of research on here it wouldnt hurt to OHM the harness.
Where can I get an OHM toy at? Will Sears have one?
And how do I OHM, with key on engine off or engine running?

Also i pulleddip stick immediately after shutting engine down the other day and found oil bubbles on the dip stick, I'm running Rot. syn 5-40 with 2,000 miles on it and have gotten all oil annalysis results back with good readings. Tim

Most multi meters can read resistance parts house, lowes, electrical store ect. will have them.

Key OFF engine OFF
The easiest way the ohm them is from the IDM connector, just drop the driver side wheel well liner and unplug the IDM. PM me your email and i'll send the pinout.

Bubbles on the dipstick indicate foaming oil.

email on the way

being over full can cause foaming and if you were idling with the nose of the truck angling down it can cause it to form and not be over full

Allen I got your e-mail. Just got back from sears with a multi-meter. Where do I ground while I'm doing the tests. And how important is it that I do not cross feed the pins with my lead from the multi-meter. I do not want to short anything out! Also, Im just touching the pointer from the multi meter to the pin as described in the schematics, right? Sorry for the questions, I have never used a multimeter before and I want to get it right.
