It did before I removed it to use the port for a boost tap.
It is pretty much useless. It can be commanded on when oil temp is below 167* and ambient is below 45* once the glow plugs are off and the truck remains at idle. It only comes on once per key on event so except for idling at start in the winter it wont energize often.
