its certainly 2 wheel drive...these are the numbers that are on the sticker inside the driver door...is there another place to look for the codes??? is there any other way to tell what type of rear end is in it? (even though its most likely 3.33)

Tag number on the rear axle..if it's still there. It should be on one of the bolts on the back cover, or on the front of the axle on a plate.

Sample Codes: E2TE-AA or a 6 or 7 digit number like: 604000-3

are you sure this is the vin sticker for that truck. Maby its a "transplant" off another truck, people do some wierd suff

Very true.
I had an 85 Ford Bronco II that had 3.43 gears in the front axle and 3.73 gears in the back axle. Guess the previous owner did an axle swap and knew nothing about matching the ratios.
