Thanks for your time KevinGnWV,much appreciated.Limited slip 4.10,SCORE!!I been doing some research on the site, and people are saying they are clearing 35s stock.Does this only apply to f350 only trucks, or will my f250 clear 35s also?Wasnt even going to try,but if I have 4.10s,I would like to.Thanks for any help,Justin
I have 285/75/16 tires on mine which are just under 33 inches and it is close. But...my truck is the supercab longbed and the front end sags noticeably. If it were level 35's would probably fit ok.
Thanks again KevinGnWV,Im looking into and add-a-leaf for the front,or a "leveling kit",but I need to do some research to see what applies to my year since I have front leaf springs. If I can find some f-350 springs for the right price,I might just switch springs.I have regular cab longbed, and it is raked considerably to the front,I notice a lot of f-350 sit close to level.

I've heard the add a leaf leveling kits make the ride super harsh, and mine rides like a 10 ton skateboard already. I'm looking at getting some +2 or similar softride springs for the front and a set of bilstein shocks all around.
Hey fellas...
I'm looking at a 1994 F150, extended cab 4x4 with an 8' bed. It has the electric 4x4 switch, (rather than a manual shift in the cab) and I assume pneumatic locking hubs.
Here's the problem.... My buddy is an Insurance guy, and he ran the vin for me. He said it comes back to a 117" wheelbase 2 wheel drive truck (due to the 5, 6, and 7th characters in the VIN being F15). He says for that truck it should be F14.
I've never seen a Ford VIN with an F14 code, and can't find a key that shows F14 as the code either.
So, for all you hardcore Ford guys out there, can you answer a couple questions?
1. The truck has 2 doors, not 4, and a back seat (extended cab) with an 8 foot bed. Wouldn't that be the long 133" wheelbase?
2. And if I read the decoder right, it's supposed to be a 117" wheelbase 2 wheel drive truck?? Could that VIN ppossibly be forrect for a 4wd truck with a long cab?
