Im buildin a Courier , i ben lookin for a engine to use. I had a 462 but my buddy told me it wouldnt work cause ther aint no hotrod pats availbe. Another buddy got a 390 triple duece out of a 61-2 tbird. thes enines any count? its misin te intake an dizzy but i can get it for cheap. i want a stout engine in te courier.
1961-63 T-Bird's (not Galaxies) offered a High Compression 390 V8 3X2 as an option. The engine code is M.

JMO: A 302 or 351W is a better choice for a Courier because of the weight factor of an FE engine. The FE engine will require extensive spring and other front end suspension changes to handle the additional weight.

I almost agree as always with Bill. But in this case I think the 302 s**ks. The 351W is the way I would go for sure. Like Bill said the FE is way to heavy and ya will have ta beef up the suspension a bunch. And will cost more in the long run. JMHO
