I just put in an offer on a place in SK...I havent seen the place yet...only pics.

worst that could happen is that we have to camp out in the house for awhile

If they accept the offer I put in...renting a place for a year and a bit would come out to the same amount of money thrown away So I cant really see a bad side to it at all Hey its a roof over our head and a yard with a garage to store my junk

66GPW...its one of the places you mentioned a week or 2 or 3 ago...the one in Odessa...64 KMS from Regina...or about 35 mins drive....give or take depending on weather and road conditions...15 hours in a blizzard

12k is what i offered and the realtor seems very enthusiastic about them accepting it... they are asking 14,900...so im not insulting them I would say... yeah I am excited that now I dont have to worry about fixing this house anymore and that job is behind me now sort of like how I get bored of the same vehicle after awhile and want something else to tinker on I seem to buy houses the same way I buy vehicles...start at the bottom and then anything I fix on them makes them worth more LOL...you can lose money on a vehicle for $200 and then make it run...its worth atleast the same amount after i drive it for a year if not more...

the realtor out here says I am outside the box HAHAHA...she meant it nicely (i think ) heck even if she didnt i take that as a compliment

nobody beleives us when we say we are thinking of buying a house in SK for less than 20k... no one can wrap their mind around the fact that there is still a place left where houses are that cheap to buy... I think out of the 20 people we have told...5 or more said they might move there themselves now hahaha

I've been around but have been looking for engine part specs. I'm planning the future build of my 302. The custom cam I've designed works too well as it puts my engine at a 8.0:1 dynamic compression ratio (9.0:1 static). This is like border line for regular gas so I've been looking at piston specs to see about dropping compression. I've found I need a 1.585 or 1.599 compression distance, 4 valve relief, flat top piston but they don't list the piston cc so I can't get an accurate figure. They are either 3cc or 5cc. I could go on but I would probably bore you guys with engine specs.

whats the 302 got? 3.5 bore diam?

thats cool though...sounds like she'll be a sweet engine when done

It's actually a fairly mild build. I'd love to put a 3.25" crank in but my speed density computer wouldn't like it. I think I could get by with 21 lb injectors but they don't make those. Here's my specs:

1984 302 E0OE block
1974 351W D0OE heads 1.84/1.54 valves 60.4cc
Stock type Mustang pistons
Stock rods and crank
87 Mustang SEFI with VR1 computer
Headers
92 AOD
Cam 114 lobe sep. 206/220 int/exh 0.050 duration .475/.485 lift at valve

All specs are flywheel:
283 HP @ 5000 rpm
340 ft-lbs @ 3500 rpm (got 291 ft-lbs at 2000 rpm and 297 ft-lbs at 5000 rpm)

Specs with 3.25" crank
283 HP @ 4500 rpm
362 ft-lbs @ 3500 rpm (got 320 ft-lbs at 2000 rpm and 289 ft-lbs at 5000 rpm)

Man nathan i love the fact that your going with efi too. That just seems like such a cool thing to have, the newer technology, in the older truck.

Going EFI is an easy choice when you can get the intake, computer, distributer, harness for $250. You can't even buy a new carb for that much.

Where did you get all the parts from for so cheap? did the intake come with all the injectors and whatnot too?
