Question Left or Right Head??

Im replacing both heads on my 87 B2 2.9.* I just picked up my replacement heads from autozone,,,and while looking at them here at the house,,,I was wondering if there is a difference in the heads,,,,as far as Passenger /side---and the driver's /side ?? I know this is a goofy question,,but I had to ask! Thanks for any input you all can provide.

ya know..that is a really good question..is there a right way or wrong way.
i guess when i got my new heads i was too excited to think about that. All I wanted to do was put the gaskets and heads on and put the motor back together so i could put it back in the truck.
Must have done it right..since the truck runs fine.

The heads are interchangeable. No difference between left or right.

excellent! Good luck.. sure is a great feeling after your all done and fixed, knowing you did it right!

I have my 87 xlt that needs the same.. but I just opted for a new motor and will keep the old one for a future build..

Can't wait to get the new motor in.

7 year warranty 100k coverage! SWEET..

But I still am putting WP heads on it just to be safe
