I took your advice and got the Napa Filter this thing is huge!

now i have the cash for the DP tuner!

i will post and let people know if this fixes my problem with my boost droping at higher rpms

Well it is installed and has been for a bout a week, i didnt really notice any difference as far a power or sound goes over the K&N that i replaced it with. Looks like i have about .5 MPG better gas mileage though. This did not fix my boost from droping but we will see what the DP does!

Ordered my DP tuner today!

any one out there can tell me how long it took them to get thier tuner and how hard was it to install?

that link is for a DP install...I ordered mine at 10 am from work..forgot to tell Jody what color light I wanted... called back at noon..it was already made...got home at 3 pm and got a conformation it was sent..had it in 2 days

Im almost done changing everything over to the late 99 style. I got the HPOP which if i run duals on that i should have no reason to get the late style pump, and then the injectors are going to all be replaced in the spring. My turbo is already changed, the brakes are changed. Ill tell you what though, at first since i had an E99 i thought surge was something you barely heard, but now i can hear it and i dont like it one bit.

this is why i want to do the hpop and the injectors 1st..then ill save and get whats needed for a non surge turbo..i want to spend my cash once...i guess bean has a good turbo for the early 99..its like the h2E turbo..good for 40lb boost..im going to check into this..

The only reason i started the switch was because i shot the stock turbo. I needed a turbo and found someone with a donor motor, then he let me take the parts i needed to make the 02 turbo fit.

It was only a 150bucks too, the motor that it came off of was blown, and it had 220K on it when it blew. THe turbo shaft felt good, but the wastegate was so loose.
