lowering 59 with straight axle
The front springs have been dearched some and had the eye flipped, it's lower but not low enough. The rears have had every other leaf removed but hte eyes are not flipped. my plan is the flip the rear eyes and take a few leaves out of the front stacks, my question is when will I see problems with the steering linkage? From what I can tell the link is just about level now, and if I remove the springs like I want it should be good for 1-1.5" more drop, will this seriously effect the steering. I am also swithing to a toyota manual box. I plan to do all this this week end.
And if the steering linkage is to far out of line could the spindle arm be carefully adjusted to correct this?
