Lowering a '59

Thinking about dropping my '59 down like my '68. I am probably going to do the rear flip and remove a couple springs. What about the front? I know I can remove a couple springs there too but is there anything else I can do? Flip the beam on top of the leafs? And if it matters, I have a 429 in it and a toyota steering box with disc brakes. Thanks.

BTW, not doing a front end swap or the crown vic idea because I want to keep the stock springs... just modify it a bit.

Somebody sells a dropped front axle (CPP?). I suspect that flipping the stock axle will result in very little clearance between the oil pan or frame rails.

Don't have any experience with the company, but Performance Online (www.performanceonline.com) sells multi-leaf drop springs for the 57-60; front and rear.
2.5" front drop around $360/set
2",3",4",5" rear drop around $390/set
