Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive write up on the steps involved in doing the spring swap both front and rear? Also if there are additional parts needed to complete the job?

Comprehensive? No, I don't. But when I did my swap, I did a comprehensive search and through the various posts, gleaned the info I needed to do the swap.
Just remember, remove the front bumper and the front springs come off easily. Disconnect the rear a/c lines from their mounts so you can manipulate them and move them out of the way to do the rear springs.
Extra floor jacks help a lot, as does a second set of hands.
If you have any kind of head for wrenching on your truck, you'll have zero problems.
Rancho 9000 are shocks. You can put in F350springs and it will stiffen the ride. Those shocks will help for stableization
Ok I will buy the F 350 springs, but how should I know if I'm asking for the right ones. Are the springs for a duallie the same for a single rear wheel?

You need to conduct some searches on this forum and at TDS, bro. There's a ton of spring info out there, with part numbers, all to help you decide which springs to put on your Ex.
You need to research the info so you can decide which springs to choose, based on other peoples testimonies, in the many, many threads and posts on this subject.
When I did my research, I read tons of posts regarding this subject, for a few weeks, before I decided how I wanted to modify my suspension.
