Clutch spring F2

Where does the rear(towards tailgate) of the clutch pedal spring hook onto?

Google search is amazing< Found this quicker than it took to read your question. I tend to do it too though...
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...al-spring.html

Sometimes it's just more fun to ask the question hoping someone will just come over to my house and help me hook it up.

Speaking of hooking the spring up to the cross member, it can sometimes be a real pain to get the hook end of spring into the slot its supposed to go into.

good luck

Josh

The transmission cross member? Seems way too low. I dont understand the pics on that other link. I will print it out and match it up.

To me by looking at that picture it looks like it hooks into the bottom of the floorboard in the area before it turns up on an angle.

there are 2 small holes above your master cylinder mounting bolts. the spring hooks into the one closest to the frame rail. about an inch down from the top of the frame crossmember. If I remember right you kinda have to twist and turn your spring end just so to get it in.

The Loop at the tip of the pencil is a large cotter pin that goes thru the hole and is spread on the back side of the crossmember

Are you saying the spring hooks to the loop of the cotter pin?? That would be easier to hook up for sure, but seems like the couple I've seen just hooked directly into the hole on crossmember.
