...replace this p-brake spring on a 1949 F series?
91A2788 .. Parking Brake Lever Spring / Obsolete
Fits: 1939/48 Passenger Cars / 1939/47 Commercials (1/2 ton) / 1948/52 F1 / 1953/56 F100 / and some other 1948/56 trucks.
No Ford Dealer has any. The obsolete parts vendors like Green Sales, Miller Obsolete, and etc. do not have any. Dennis Carpenter, Mid-Fifty doesn't either.
Nope. But I would venture to say it's probably easier to just replace the whole handle - probably more readily available as a whole assembly as well.

Well, I guess as they would say, that is that! Handles on e-bay about once a month.
