key switch does not turn off blower

When I cut off the truck, the blower motor continues to run. Also, my speedometer, odometer has quit working all on the same day. I did not have any issues last night when I cut the truck off, and this morning is when it started messing up. When I start the truck, sometimes it dings 3 times just like when you cut it off while still rolling. Does not do this at every start up. This is a 2000 350 w/ 7.3 powerstroke. Any help is appreciated....

I think your GEM is screwed. It's not powering up your speedo/odo and is not powering down your fan. The dealer can scan for body codes to be sure, if they can't connect, then it needs to be replaced.

The gem doesn't have anything to do with either. Check for blower relay sticking. Any more sysptoms on the speedo?

Pickup cured itself. I'm guessing all the standing water from melting snow has alot to do with it. The day after it stopped, the speedometer started working again. 2 days later, the blower was back to normal. I know the relay to the the blower is ok, I swapped it out the next morning, still the same thing. I had to replace it a few years ago as my cb radio was spliced into the same circuit. Ofcourse the radio is hopped up and draws alot of power and it caused problems before. That was re-wired differently at that time. We just got 7 more inches of snow yesterday, so I'll see what happens this time.......
