electrical Woe's

Last Week while running the 86F250 5.8 C6 the lights on the entire truck started to blink or surge in a uniform rhythm, they never go out but go light dim light dim. Any ideas.

Also I am thinking of going to the 3G alternator set-up if possible. My Alternator is lower on the engine, Had AC at one time, What Alternator would work for the 3G series, Any suggestions

Allan

Take a short piece of wire and bolt it to the engine block(scrape the paint away). Then take the other end and bolt it to one of the bolts holding the alternator regulator. See if that makes it go away.

I agree with Franklin2, check your engine and chassis grounds.
