I'd just like to bring up something that seems odd to me. I just had the dealer install the new master cylinder and reprogram the computer as part of the factory integrated trailer brake controller instalation. When I picked up my truck the engine hours had been reset to zero. Upon driving the truck the hours started rolling up as usual. Is this normal ? Thanks, John
It happened to my truck also when they reprogramed the instrament cluster for the new brake controller not knowing what hours it had on it when i took it in there was nothing to do about it so now i have about 23000 mi and only about 195 hrs hope they dont think i was driving it at warp speed

your truck didn't come with a brake controller? or is it a new version? I didn't know they could come without one. All the trucks at my dealer had them also had the tow package though.
Yep my 06 came with tow package but not the tow command system(bummer), so I asked how much to get one put in, dealer said around the $700 mark and I said ,Thanks but NO THANKS. So I took the controller out of old one and put in new one AGAIN!
