three on the tree - shift problems
i recently replaced the clutch on my 67' f100. having trouble figuring out how to re attach the shifter rods back to the trans. looks like some cotter pins are missing, etc... any ideas on home fix methods i.e. bent rods, paper clips? i'll put the thing together with chewing gum if i have to, i don't care about a perfectly correct resteration, i just want to drive the thing. help? thanks.

Wire coat hangers are a great temp solution as long as the holes are big enough. Then once you get it put together drive to a hardware store and buy the correct ones. A whole pile of cotter keys less then $10.
