Just checked the #'s on my con rods & discovered I have Boss 429 "T" rods (C9AE 6210-B). Are these things anything special or did they stick them in everything?
I realise the "S" rod is better as it has a beefier big-end.
What rods should I use when I throw this thing back together? (& I ain't springing for a set of Carillo's....)
C9AX-B's lok the dogs *****, any opinions?

ZRX61........(C9AE 6210-B) is that whats on the end cap? The casting number on the beam should be C9AE-B. These rods should have football shaped rod bolts. These rods will work in any standard 429 or 460 and are a bit better than CJ or heavy duty truck rods.
The S rod is shorter than the T rod, just in case you didn't know that.
