Yea it's basically a bolt on. My original design that I'm using now on the Ex I had to make an additional hole in the crossmember. It's tight to do that to get a drill in there. I cheated and used a plasma cutter. But for you guy's ones I'm gonna make it a true bolt on unit no cutting or drilling.
I would like to buy a set of your brackets for my 2wd EX will this help overall and maybe with towing??.. and what type of shock do i have to buy to use your mounts?? thank
Byos ... my experience with mine is it gives the steering a more solid feel. My Ex had a noise generated by rough or uneven pavement through the steering which was solved by the stabilizer setup. I haven't used it under towing conditions yet. I'm sure it would help reduce the tendency for the wheels to be moved under lighter front end conditions like hitting pot-holes, RXR's, uneven pavement, ect..
Ok .. I got one set totally complete tonight this first one is Monsta's. I will have the rest done this week probably one tomorrow and so on. Sorry it's taken a while I'm just covered up all day and half the night.
I came up with $35 for the kit. It comes with everything except the stabilizer it's self. The stabilizer I used was a Skyjacker 7030. It's a Heavy Duty OE replacement for early 4x4 Fords so they are easy to find. Shipping will be additional and I'll do the cheapest way I can for ya.
I will have a total of 4 done this week for Monsta, Cobra 427, dmbturbo69, & tims 01.
Byos I'll get yours done next week buddy.
Guys just shoot me an EMAIL
so I can get your addresses.
