I installed my guages yesterday, Autometer ultralites over the mirror, then got my SCT from LIPD, and let me tell you Matt and Jeremy have got some smoking tunes.. and I am not kidding the first one I installed I am forced to take out because it is winter here and the tires are roasting at 50MPH.. Not kidding... Just too dangerous w/ my kids in the truck this time of year, nasty power!! I was never a believer of advertised HP and TQ increase.. they always seems to claim way more gains than you assometer feels, but I smashed it at 30MPH and left 100" of rubber to 80MPH on dry tar.. But these guys are serious. the power is in there just call em up and get one do not talk about it any longer..Just got my buddy to by a 6.0L because I took him for a ride and lost his stomach on a few 4x4 launches to 100mph.. So guages and an SCT will only set you back about $7-800. I cannot wait til summer now I can smoke Harley's on my VTX and my F350!!

Well my base engine is stock and my whole bike only costs $10,500. not the whole aftermarket race engine that costs what my whole bike costs, is fuel injected, gets 40MPG + and liquid cooled and doesn't leak!! Mine is also stock bore and stroke of 110CI. If I paid what you paid for that engine I would defiently come out on top. Actually I don't have to I could just buy a used 600cc sport bike LOL, not starting anything just boasting about the trucks performance. Good luck w/ your truck

While I am not boasting either, I do think it is fair that I respond......

Usually people who cannot afford Harleys tend to quote price first.

Well, the 124 is available fuel injected, and all 07 HD's are F.I. only, 06 was the last year of the carburator. Your stock displacement is 110. Hd's is 96 for 07', 88 for 06-99. Not really a fair compairson. My nasty sportster and Dyna both got 40 mpg making over 90 RWHP with a carburator, so no great technological breakthrough there. Liquid cooled is cool I guess. None of mine ever leaked, maybe I wasn't doing something right?

I can get a 124 kit for my 06 for less than $5k. The complete is $6k. If I was real creative, I could do the razorblade 116 for less than $3k. Which would put my '06 FLHX purchase price with engine mods at $18,000. When I sell mine, much like a diesel vs. a gasser, I will lose much much less of my investment than you will.

The truck mods scare me way more than any bike, HD's are the easiest bike in the world to work on or mod. They have way more available aftermarket parts for them than anything out there.

Wow that is much cheaper than I was aware of.. I have never seen any bike that I had to pass not allow me to, I do not have the fastest bike, obvioiusly. But for a cruiser it is pretty impressive for it's cost.. Thats all. Good luck w/ your truck and Bike.
