Need More Power!!
I have a 89 Bronco II 4wd with the 2.9L. Can somebody tell me is I can fit a 5.0L into it without major Changes. Or what would be the best engine to put into it where I would get power but not eat a ton of fuel in exchange for the power. Thank You.

The V8 will require you to get:
New Motor Mounts
New Custom Headers
Trimmed heater box
New Tranny
T-Case Adapter
Driveshafts
The 4.0L will drop right in, you can reuse your tranny and t-case if you want to, and it doesn't require any trimming or beatings with a hammer.
Also, in the end, the V8 swap is a lot more expensive.
