You get what you pay for, (most of the time). A lot of people on here will tell you to keep it stock. If you have to add performance mods, why be cheap with them? You just spent 38K plus for your truck, (thats my best guess). Spent the bucks to get good mods.
what is the best thing and something that is pretty cheap i can do to get more power out of my 6.0 powerstroke diesel it is a 2006 f-350
No offense intended, but... you obviously don't have a ton of spare cash to throw at this, thus the need for cheap mods. Are you going to have the money to repair your truck when you blow a head gasket or a transmission thanks to the tuning? You play, you pay...
Keep it stock. These trucks have plenty of power without any additional help.
Get An Exhaust First, Cools The Egt And Give It An Good Tone, Try Tjdieselperformance.com Good Prices And Good Kits. The Truck Has Everything Else You Need!!! Good Luck!!
Both enhance and modify the torque curve and maximum boost attained. In my case, I saw a slight improvement in fuel economy too. Lower EGT's are a plus for any turbo charged engine. Good guages so you know what's going on are also advised.
Curious though, how much more power are you needing? It's all relative to how much you're willing to spend.
we do alot of gauges, with SCT and Muffler delete pipes. seem to be the best bang for the buck as good exhaust systems are pricey and intake arent require till you get extreme
It keeps the injectors from starving for fuel, its very benificial in performance applications where bigger injectors need more fuel to keep them properly supplied, but in a motor that is flash tuned with stock injectors, you will increase the injector life. You also increase the fuel pressure which allows you to run a much better fuel filter (smaller micron rating) without cutting flow.
I can tell you that out off all the mods i've done (just bought the truck a month ago) the SCT with LIPD tunes is without a doubt the best. I just downloaded one of their street tunes today and i can't believe the difference. I installed the gauges the other day (EGT, Boost, Trans Temp) just to be on the safe side and i've still yet to see the EGT go over 800 with the addition of the tuner. I did however blow the boost tube right off the gauge the first time i put the pedal to the floor. (guess it shoud have been tighter)
Just an FYI....I did the exhaust before anything (MBRP downpipe, and Banks single Monster exhaust).
The only other thing i can add is that out of all the questions I've had and all the companies i've talked to, both in person and on the phone, LIPD is without a doubt the only company I'll deal with from now on out!

FWIW: I have a cat delete pipe, Biig Truck muffler replacement, and a BullyDog tuner on my recently puchased F250 SD LB. I did the upgrade for better towing and could not be happier whether towing or not.

Typically the word "my" in such context would infer personal ownership of the vehicle.
Are you trying to dig your way out of the question by lying, or is your grammar simply poor? Either way, your tone and language, along with your attitude, is not appreciated nor accepted here at this site. I do not believe the target of your flaming is the dumb one here.
