Hopefully all the designs on the floor will look like art work when I'm done. I am going to pull it off probably late this evening. I will let you know what I find out. I had the front two bleeder valves all the way out.
KSMITH203-I will admit--I started theF600 up and pulled it outside and with my tractor plowed the drive--my 56 would not move!!!It just spun!!haha--I have the bed off and I could not believe this big giant truck stuck on my drive--had to pull with my case tractor and put her back in barn. With all this snow-I cannot do much.Kevin--I would welcome any help, but I am waiting for parts, and just ordered more today.I hope your brake job is successful--I am waiting for pics, dude!!!haha
If you schedule something a couple of weeks ahead, I would be glad to come up and help out. Your not 8 hours away. I want to make it to one of AX's races this year. Hopefully in March or April.
I love to work on these trucks so let me know Walford56
That sounds like it could work-I appreciate the offer ksmith303!!!There are some parts ordered and after the booster comes back-I hope to start.
Did your master cylinder project work out?Did you have to plug the extra inlets,or did you run a wire thru to clear the way?? thanks again.
Ran into problem last night, so I did not get to work on it. I will let you know. Probably not until Monday evening or Saturday afternoon. I have to go wire a friends new rec room so he can hang drywall and have it finished. Then I will get back to the truck
Kevin, that big chunk of brass is another one of Henry Ford's attemts to fool everyone with overkill. If you cross thread a hole and render it useless all you need is a single line banjo fitting that fits the hollow bolt. Only one line goes to the booster, then one line comes out of the booster and can be teed to the wheel cylinders with a pair of parts house tees. We have fixed a couple of trucks that way because I haven't found a supply for the big chunk of brass except on another old truck.
