As diesels become more popular in the car market, there is no doubt in my mind that you will see them in the focus and escape as well as the fusion, etc. Moving forward, Hybrid Diesels may be the way of the not to distant future. After that, you may see cars like the VOLT (GM announcement) Concept, but with a small diesel vs a gas engine to recharge the battery.
