It's not a work truck but rather designed for how most truck buyers actually use their vehicles as well as what Honda buyers want. It's different from what most are used to seeing but it does have a purpose and it seems to fulfill that purpose pretty well.
Heh, this was a regurgitated subject, but as noted, the Honda will sell, thanks to gas prices, and the rumble from some corners here that real trucks are reg cab/long beds and/or are out on farms anyway....which I always got a laugh out of.
They also had to make the C pillar super thick because they were having stability issues with the "truck". Looks more like an Avalanche than a truck, mainly because the bed is not a separate part from the cab. It's all welded smooth like a car.
It is one of the ugliest vehicles that I have seen to date. I thought it was a joke when I first saw it at the auto show, but I was wrong, lol. It will sell to people who buy vehicles like the sportrac, and avalanche. What kind of a truck motor only makes power above 4000 Rpm?
