Windsor or Romeo
I am the happy owner of a 1998 Econoline Universal 4.6L V8 Triton.
It is the only one in France
I want to know what type of engine is in it.
One this Website I read that 6G840AA is a Romeo engine and the 6G870 OR 871AA are Windsor engines.
Mine is coded 7G900AB
Can somebody give me some infos about the engine I have got in my van.

It's my understanding that the main difference between the two is the heads.

Yes, I have read that and mine seems to be a Windsor engine.
I was wondering what was the diffrence between the 6G' engine and the 7G' engine.
Mine is a 7G900AB
My van VIN is: 1FDRE1464WHA16138
Is it the original engine, a rebuilt one a specific type of engine?
I have spent hours trying to find infos about the 7GXXX type no luck yet
