Someone did indeed install one on his X, but he sold his truck and no one's seen or heard from him since. His screename was "Mud-something" and his icon was a rabid dog frothing. He did it and loved it, but it does take time. Someone else did it on a Navigator, but I don't remember his name. Use the search function and it should bring up their name(s).

They still list it on their web site. http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com/...sp?ProdID=1137
I cringe at 'I heard' even though I still use it.

Whipple no longer has a supercharger kit for the 6.8L application. Here is a reply to an email I sent them:
I'm sorry, but we do not offer a supercharger system that will work with
your motor at this time.
Thank you for your interest,
Shonda

Are any of the supercharger kits still available for the 2 valve Ford Triton V-10 6.8L Super Duty or Excursion setups? (It's a 2000 model Excursion).
Thanks,
Dick Campbell

You better make sure your fuel system is up to snuff. If thats the original fuel pump with 140K on it it would need to be replaced in my opinion. #1 thing that makes a forced induction motor go BOOM is leaning out. Im guessing the stock fuel pump probbaly wouldnt be able to keep up even on its best day with the V-10 though, so the kit probably comes with a new fuel pump and bigger injectors)
Oh and detenation is right up there too! Make sure you find a GOOD tuner. Pay for the better guy to do it, dont go cheap here.

Never mind. I just checked their site. They took the Excursion and V-10's off their menu.

Centrifigal is probably all thats marketed nowadays it seems. I know some procharger kits came iwth fuel pumps or injectors. Havnt really looked at a V-10 application, im just going off what ive seen for other cars like mustangs and camaro/trans am's.
Ive heard of people running centrifigal superchargers with an electronic wastegate to regulate boost. Basically you pully it up so it spins up much faster, but itll bleed off more air then the amount you set. Kinda wasting energy spinning up the blower only to dump a bunch of teh boost, but if balanced right im sure a good system could be built.
Bob at exoticperformanceplus.com would be my first step. He is a procharger god in alot of peoples eyes lol. Very knowlegable and he goes out of his way to help customers. And rich people trust him with ferrari's and other high end cars too! The mans good.
